The Best Formula

Share

While I am aware of the benefits of the WIC (Women, Infants and Children) nutritional program, I do not believe that the federal government is doing anything beneficial by providing low-income women with expensive commercial formula.

WIC does encourage breast-feeding as well as educate women of its many advantages. Nevertheless, the majority of single and low-income mothers opt to bottle-feed their babies.

Our federal funds would go further as well as provide a greater service by concentrating on pregnant and breast-feeding mothers. Women have the best “formula” for feeding their babies and it costs nothing, doesn’t require sterilization or warming, and makes happier, healthier babies.
