Nicole Provis and Rachel McQuillan won semifinal matches to set up an all-Australian final in the Danone Queensland Open at Brisbane, Australia.

Provis outlasted Magdalena Maleeva of Bulgaria, 4-6, 7-5, 6-2. McQuillan beat former NCAA champion Debbie Graham, 7-5, 6-4.
