A woman who was ejected from her pickup truck and pinned between it and another vehicle was in serious condition with a head injury and facial cuts at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, officials said.

Christene Erp, 32, of Escondido was driving south on Harding Street about 8 a.m. Monday when she collided at Lincoln Avenue with a car driven by Sotero Michel, 33, of Escondido, police spokeswoman Janice Guada said. Michel was driving east on Lincoln.

Erp’s truck spun around and hit another truck driven by Julie Murray, 29, of San Diego, who was waiting in westbound traffic on Lincoln.

Erp, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected and then pinned between her truck and Murray’s, Guada said.
