CAMARILLO : Developer Seeks to Build 240 Condos

Share

M.F. Daily Investment Co. has filed an application with the Camarillo Planning Department to build 240 condominiums on 19.83 acres off Paseo Camarillo.

The project, proposed for a site zoned for high-density residential use, would not require changing city zoning or the General Plan, said Matthew Boden, city planning and community development director. Boden said M.F. Daily filed an application last month for a residential planned development permit, which will be reviewed first by the Planning Commission. It will also require City Council approval.

The complex, which would be named Home Ranch Condominiums, would include two- and three-bedroom condominiums that the developer plans to sell for between $190,000 and $210,000 each, according to the application.

The developer hopes to start construction of the first 60 units in the spring of 1993, and to start sales that summer, said M.F. Daily attorney Timothy Wolfe.
