A 29-year-old El Cajon woman died Tuesday when her car crashed into a stalled truck on a road near Sweetwater Reservoir in East County, officials said.

Dabretia Christopher was killed when her car struck the truck, loaded with sawdust, parked on the side of Jamacha Road, the coroner’s office said. Christopher’s car was then hit by another car, whose driver was uninjured.

Christopher, who was driving with her two sons, was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after 7 p.m., the coroner’s office said. The children were taken to Children’s Hospital, where the 3-year-old was listed in fair condition and the 5-year-old underwent surgery.
