Evaluating the District’s Evaluation of Teacher in Creationism Dispute

Share

John Peloza, the high school biology teacher suing for the right to teach creationism along with evolution, complains that he got a bad evaluation from his supervisors in the San Juan Capistrano School District.

Well, what did he expect? He has a suit against the district that could cost them millions in legal fees at a time when money for students is scarce, plus he is going against the established policy of the school as well as the law and the Constitution, which guarantees the right to practice the religion of one’s choice (or not practice religion at all) and not be unduly coerced or influenced by the religion of another.

Come on, John, one who bites the hand that feeds him shouldn’t expect plaudits.
