The Puerto Rican Basketball League has suspended seven officials and two players who tested positive for cocaine use, officials of the amateur league said.
Three other players also were suspended for one year for refusing to submit to the mandatory test.
In accordance with league policy, the names of the referees or the players were not disclosed.
