The work-in-progress version of Walt Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast,” critically acclaimed when it was shown last September at the New York Film Festival, will be screened here four times this weekend. Disney, in conjunction with the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, will show the film today at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., and Sunday at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the Glen Glenn Sound Studios theater, 900 N. Seward Ave.

The unfinished version of the animated movie musical features portions of the pencil tests, rough animation and the finished color film.

A donation of $5 for adults and $4 for students will benefit museum film programs.
