Catalogue Deluge
Recently I threw away 27 pounds of unsolicited mail-order catalogues I received in one week! There should be a federal law that requires every catalogue to include a prepaid postal card stating whether one wants to receive the catalogue or not. A lot of trees and plenty of garbage-dump space would be saved that way.
