The mayor’s special committee on water rates will hold the fifth of six citywide meetings today at 2 p.m. for comment from Los Angeles residents on how water fees should be restructured.
The meeting, at the Department of Water and Power headquarters at 111 N. Hope St., will address the distribution of water charges among all customers.
“The committee wants to know how consumers want overall rates restructured,” committee Chairman Anthony Willoughby said. “We are not considering the subject of total cost of water on individual bills.”
