Make Believe Brass Expected to Be on CAC Touring Roster

The California Arts Council, at a regular meeting Friday in Los Angeles, is expected to add Make Believe Brass, a group based in Anaheim, to its Touring and Presenting Program Roster. Groups and artists on the roster are given indirect financial support by the CAC, which pays up to 50% of the costs incurred by anyone presenting one of the artists or groups in California. About 230 artists and groups are expected to the added to the roster Friday.

Make Believe Brass, which plays light classical works, pops and jazz, performs regularly at Disneyland and has toured the county, the state, the West and the Midwest, a CAC official said.
