WATER RATES HEARING: Mayor Tom Bradley’s committee on restructuring water rates will hold the last of its six public hearings 7 p.m. Monday, at the Department of Water and Power office at 4030 Crenshaw Blvd., Los Angeles.
ANOTHER CHANCE: Three of the four Bell Gardens council members who were recalled last month plan to announce Monday that they will seek to recapture their seats in the April municipal elections. A 2:30 p.m. news conference is scheduled in front of Bell Gardens City Hall.
HARMONY: A weeklong convention of the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America concludes with public performances at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center, Terrace Theater, 300 E. Ocean Blvd., Long Beach. Ticket prices range from $12 to $15.
