Late-Night Blues

Each time I watch “The Arsenio Hall Show” (KCOP), Hall demonstrates why he is not the king of late-night television. He does not do his homework on his guests; he is not a well-rounded person and he does not know how to respond to his guests’ comments. He usually ends up with a stupid laugh or feigns ignorance. He misses opportunities for comeback lines and solid questioning.
