Fed Extends Comment Time on BofA Deal: The Federal Reserve Board added 30 days to the deadline for public comment on BankAmerica Corp.’s proposed acquisition of Security Pacific Corp. The deadline, which was to have been this Thursday, will now be Feb. 28. Hearings on the proposed deal were held earlier this month in Los Angeles, Phoenix, San Francisco and Seattle.
