San Diego police made 97 arrests, mostly for drug and alcohol offenses, at the sold-out Guns N’ Roses concert on at the Sports Arena, police said Tuesday. The arrests were described as minor and no major disturbances were reported.

Other than the arrests, another 48 fans were ejected Monday night from the Sports Arena, 22 people were treated by a nurse and at least two people were transported to a hospital, San Diego police spokesman Bill Robinson said.

More than three dozen officers were assigned to the concert.

Guns N’ Roses began their performance shortly before midnight and they played for about three hours, Robinson said. Monday night’s concert was the first of two shows at the Sports Arena.
