WEEKEND TV : Anita Hill Interview on ’60 Minutes’

Sexual harassment, Democrats, AIDS and cowboys are the hot topics on the small screen this weekend.

In her first major television interview since she accused Supreme Court nominee Clarence Thomas of sexual harassment, University of Oklahoma law professor Anita Hill tells Ed Bradley who she is and why she came forward on “60 Minutes,” at 7 p.m. Sunday (2)(8). The program also includes reports on the tactics of a radical anti-abortion group and on Soviet Jews immigrating to Israel.

The campaign managers of the major Democratic presidential candidates will put aside their own battles and convene at 7:30 tonight on C-SPAN for a panel discussion on how to devise a united Democratic strategy to beat President Bush in the general election this fall.

Peter Jennings moderates “Growing Up in the Age of AIDS: A Town Meeting for the Family,” in which AIDS experts will take calls from viewers Sunday at 6:30 p.m. on ABC (7)(3)(10)(42). The program will focus on prevention and protection and will feature rap group Salt-N-Pepa singing “Let’s Talk About AIDS,” to the tune of their hit song, “Let’s Talk About Sex.”

And “King of the Cowboys” Roy Rogers celebrates his 60th anniversary in show business with an appearance Sunday at 8 p.m. (4)(36)(39) on “Hot Country Nights.” The program includes tributes from country singers Clint Black, Ronnie Milsap, Kathy Mattea and Travis Tritt.
