Tony Veterans: Joseph Cates has a date with the Tony Awards for the third year. The American Theater Wing has signed him up to return as executive producer of the Tony telecast, which is due May 31 on CBS. Walter C. Miller will return as producer and director, a post he has held for the last five years.
