Doctor Donahue: Talk-show host Phil Donahue will take the pulse of the nation’s health care on “Condition Critical: The American Health Care Forum,” coming up April 8 on public television. Executive producer Stephen D. Atlas says the program will function “as a kind of teach-in for people who know our health care system is in trouble but have no clear idea how to fix it.” The program, using interactive technology, will also allow voters to have their say on health care reform. The studio audience will be hooked into an instant polling device, and viewers at home will be able to weigh in via a toll-free phone number.
