Pop Appeal: Two stagings of Tin Pan Alley pop have been added to the Los Angeles Civic Light Opera seasons. Completing the current season will be “Stardust,” a set of classic tunes with lyrics by Mitchell Parish, presented in a production designed by the late Erte. Dates are May 12-June 7 at the Wilshire Theatre. “Ziegfeld--A Night at the Follies,” at the Pantages July 7-Aug. 2, will join “A Few Good Men” and “Once on This Island” to make up next season.
