Looking Vainly for Addresses
I wonder if there are enough people to help me start a “one WO-man” campaign to encourage (or force) business establishments to display their address in numbers large enough to read from a passing vehicle.
I have heard so many of my friends, neighbors, etc., complain because the traffic is so heavy that one can barely slow down to locate a specific address on a business or store that is new to them.
Very few businesses display an address, or, if they do, the numerals are very small or in a location that is not visible when passing in a vehicle.
I have lived in the Valley for approximately 40 years and have never felt that this was a problem until recently. It’s dangerous to be peering to one’s left or right, trying to locate an address, when cars and pedestrians alike are coming from all directions.
