Freddie’s Adult Role
The Times obituary “Freddie Bartholomew: Child Film Star” (Section A, Jan. 25) stated that he had never acted in films as an adult, just after I had seen him as a comic young clergyman, age 27, in “St. Benny the Dip” (1951) on TV the day before.
