Three Youths Abducted and Shot, Two Killed
Three youths were kidnaped by a man who locked them in his car trunk, held them overnight and then shot them, killing two, officials said. Robert Kay, 24, was charged Sunday night with three counts of kidnaping, two counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted first-degree murder, a sheriff’s spokesman said.
The surviving boy was shot three times. A woman who called for help said the boy told her that he and his two friends encountered the abductor after they had sneaked out of their homes after midnight. No motive had been established.
