Share

A memorial basketball game will be held to raise money for the family of Taylor and Spencer Paul, who were killed in an auto accident last month as they drove home with their father, a coach.

The boys were fatally injured on Jan. 18 when the station wagon driven by their father collided with another car near their home. Taylor 7, died instantly, and Spencer 2, died later at Chapman Hospital in Orange. Their father, Don Howard Paul, 57, who works in the aerospace industry, and his 14-year-old son, Matt, a student at Cerro Villa Junior High, survived the crash.

The game will be sponsored by the National Junior Basketball Instructional Clinic, which will be renamed the Spencer/Taylor NJB Instructional Clinic. The game will start at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Villa Park High School Gym.
