THE RIGHT PARTS: Cycler is just your average robot: “He walks, he talks, he makes faces,” says Robert Abajian of Dewey Rubbish Service in Irvine. But Cycler is made entirely of recycled parts: newspapers, bottles and cans. The company is taking it to meet Orange County’s kindergarten through third-grade children--today’s stops are at Olivewood Elementary in El Toro and the Crown Valley Library--to promote recycling. . . . “It’s incredible the way kids’ faces light up when they see it,” says Abajian. The robot was produced by Alicia and Ray Raymond, who did the “Short Circuit” movie robot.
