COSTA MESA : Service Groups Can Request HUD Funds
The city is accepting applications from local nonprofit groups who want funding under the Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant Program.
Funds are available on a competitive basis to local organizations that are serving or want to serve residents of Costa Mesa.
Funding is on a year-to-year basis, and recipient organizations must meet and follow the guidelines of the Federal Office of Management and Budget after they have received the money.
Applications are available from the Housing and Community Development Division, on the fifth floor of City Hall, 77 Fair Drive. The application is designed to gather information on compliance with HUD requirements.
The deadline is 4 p.m. March 13. No extensions will be granted.
