Leader of the Band: On Monday night comedian Dennis Miller told those watching “The Dennis Miller Show” on KTLA that music director Andy Summers (former guitarist of the Police) was leaving the show, which first aired on Jan. 20. A spokesman for the program said that after helping launch the show and writing its theme music, Summers decided he would rather focus on his solo career.
