FOCUS: TOKAI BANK BUILDING

GRC Restaurants Inc., which owns and operates Coco’s, Charley Brown’s and Reuben’s restaurants, will move its corporate office to Irvine’s Tokai Bank building in May after a $2-million renovation. The 14-year-old building was recently purchased for $7 million by Burke Commercial Development and its investment affiliate, Cornerstone Partners Inc. from Claremont Enterprises Inc., a subsidiary of the National Bank of Canada. Tokai Bank and Bowne of Los Angeles, a financial printer, will occupy the ground floor.
