IBM Delays Notebook Debut Again: IBM has delayed for a second time the U.S. introduction of a notebook-sized portable computer, one of the few hot-selling products in a sluggish computer market. It originally planned to unveil the six-pound machine late last year, then delayed the introduction until Tuesday. Now it plans to wait another month so it can roll out an 11-pound color-screen laptop computer at the same time, an industry source said. IBM also is expected to cut the notebook’s price below the $3,000 it had planned to charge. The source said the new price will be below $2,500.
