Auto Parts Weren’t Stolen

Share

It is evident in your article “Hook Pulls in 75” (Times Valley Edition, Feb. 11) that your reporter heard only one side of this “sting operation,” that of Deputy Police Chief Mark A. Kroeker.

The deputy chief states that all of the arrests were at “hot spots” for stolen parts, which implies that our shop uses stolen auto parts. I am sure that you will find many of the shops listed, as well as ourselves, are not “hot spots” for stolen auto parts and can and will provide invoices for all parts used.

Perhaps Chief Kroeker should take the time to find the truth instead of grandstanding at a press conference. However, it is probably much easier to make false accusations and harass hard-working family providers.
