Letters on Letters

Share

I read the letter from Rudy Droguett with interest. At first I agreed with him. Why should we spend time on negative things? Then I thought about the other side of it. The articles have helped me in planning for a trip. And warnings from travelers about areas where they have journeyed (can help) others plan around those spots or alter their behavior to avoid what could spoil a trip or be dangerous.

I wish that someone had warned about the theft in Hawaii that is connected with rental cars. My son had a bad experience with theft of a purse from a car, then the added financial burden of being charged with repair of the car where the lock had been stripped off the car by the thieves.

Print happy letters first, then follow with the letters of warning or correction. I really like the column as it is.
