The following is a list of people who have declared their intention to run for newly redrawn state Senate and Assembly districts in the San Fernando Valley and adjacent areas. The deadline for filing has passed in districts where an incumbent is running; in districts with no incumbents, the deadline closed Monday.

In some cases, the same person is running for different seats. Such candidates must declare by March 6 which district they will campaign in.
