Film Music Group to Honor Mancini’s Life Achievements

Composer Henry Mancini will receive a career achievement award from the Society for the Preservation of Film Music March 13, at the Sheraton Universal’s Grand Ballroom.
The entire evening will be a salute to Mancini, winner of four Oscars and 22 Grammys.
Honorary co-chairmen are directors Stanley Donen and Blake Edwards. John Williams, last year’s honoree, will serve as master of ceremonies.
