* Chase Carey, executive vice president and chief financial officer of Fox Inc., has been given the additional title of chief operating officer.
Carey, 38, will head the finance, administration, facilities and strategic planning staffs for the Century City-based movie and TV studio.
He will work closely with new Fox Inc. Chairman and Chief Executive Rupert Murdoch in overseeing the four main operating units of Fox, including 20th Century Fox, 20th Television, Fox Broadcasting and Fox TV Stations.
Carey joined Fox in 1988 from Columbia Pictures, where he had been an executive in the home video and pay TV divisions since 1981.
