Fighting on the Block: A former producer for New Kids on the Block, who has been sued for libel by the teen pop sensations for charging that they lip-sync their songs, continued his assault on the group Tuesday. At a press conference in Boston, producer Greg McPherson played video and audio tapes that he says “prove” that portions of the group’s “live” vocal performance last month on Arsenio Hall’s TV show were “enhanced” by prerecorded vocal tapes. Representatives for the New Kids and Hall again denied McPherson’s charges that New Kids are primarily a lip-sync act.
