Bush’s Secret Aid for Iraq
Your series of articles about loans to Iraq reveals a far different George Bush than the one that is supposed to be such a master of foreign affairs. If the Reagan-Bush administrations best, most thoughtful response to concerns about a fundamentalist Iran was to arm and encourage a known thug like Saddam Hussein, we are in deep trouble. Administrations willing to take such reckless foreign policy risks should be known for what they are: incompetent.
