Long Beach Women Rally to Win, 69-64
Cal State Long Beach, trailing 46-27, rallied to a 69-64 victory over Cal State Fullerton in a Big West Conference women’s basketball game Thursday night at Long Beach.
Gaytan Bolivia scored 21 points and Danielle Scott added 17 to lead Long Beach (18-8, 12-5). Claudette Jackson had 19 points for Fullerton (11-15, 6-11).
The 49er women shot 30.8% (12 of 39) in the first half but improved to 53.8% (14 of 26) in the second half, when they outscored the Titans, 42-18.
