In the Wee Hours: CBS News announced that Monica Gayle, who has been at KNSD in San Diego, will co-anchor its new overnight news service, “Up to the Minute.” Russ Mitchell, a former anchor at KMOV in St. Louis, joins Gayle on the nightly four-hour service, which should be on the air by the end of the month.
