Eric Lindros reportedly turned down a contract offer from the Quebec Nordiques that would have earned him more than $55 million over 10 years, according to Quebec City radio station CJRP Radio. The contract reportedly also contained “a Stanley Cup clause” that would have obliged the Nordiques to trade Lindros as soon as the team won the NHL title.
