The Queen’s Flu: Tyne Daly missed performances in “Queen of the Stardust Ballroom” in Long Beach Sunday and Tuesday, felled by the flu. On Sunday, Daly’s withdrawal was announced to theatergoers at the last minute, after most were seated. In the absence of an understudy, the performances were canceled, but Lainie Kazan is said to be preparing to go on in case Daly cannot return tonight. An extra performance has been added this Sunday evening to accommodate those who were turned away last week. Last Sunday’s tickets also will be honored at the remaining performances this week.
