Filling the Bill: Anchorman-reporter Bill Lagatutta, whose contract with KNBC-TV Channel 4 was not renewed earlier this year, has signed on with CBS News as a West Coast correspondent. He will start his new duties next week. Lagatutta reportedly had been negotiating with NBC for a slot on the network’s upcoming newsmagazine “Dateline NBC” before signing with CBS. He joined KNBC in 1985, but earlier had worked at CBS affiliates in Denver, San Diego and San Francisco.
