Escaped Murder Convict Recaptured in Woodland

CHARLESTON, W. Va. —
Tommie Lee Mollohan, at large since he escaped with two other convicted murderers from the West Virginia Penitentiary in Moundsville last month, has been captured, a spokesman for the West Virginia State Police said Wednesday. Mollohan was arrested Tuesday night in a wooded area near Gilbert, thanks to a tip from an informant. The other two escapees already had been apprehended.
