WOMEN’S BASKETBALL : Easterly and Leslie Lead USC Over Oregon State

Joni Easterly scored 25 points and Lisa Leslie scored 20 points and had 10 rebounds as the USC women’s basketball team defeated Oregon State, 78-66, in a Pacific 10 Conference game Saturday night at Corvallis, Ore.
Tammy Story added 14 points for USC, which finished the regular season 21-7 overall and 14-4 in the Pac-10.
Judy Shannon scored 23 points for Oregon State (8-20, 3-15).
UCLA 83, Oregon 76--Natalie Williams scored 29 points and had 22 rebounds to lead the Bruins (19-9, 12-6) over the Ducks (14-14, 6-12) at Eugene, Ore.
Five players scored more than 10 points for UCLA, which had a Pac-10 record 65 rebounds.
