Carrying the Torch: Mickey Rooney, 71, may have been married eight times, but he never tied the knot with the woman he says was his greatest love--Judy Garland. “There was no love greater in my life than my love for Judy Garland,” Rooney tells Dick Cavett in an interview set for broadcast tonight on CNBC. “She was ‘my girl’ and in my heart, we belonged together,” Rooney says of his frequent co-star in 1940s movie musicals. Garland died in 1969.
