Early Exit: The limited run of “Private Lives” on Broadway is going to be even shorter than planned. The Noel Coward comedy, starring Joan Collins, is scheduled to close Sunday after 37 regular performances and 11 previews. It opened Feb. 20 and was booked until April 5 at the Broadhurst Theater. According to the trade paper Variety, “Private Lives” played to 58.4% of capacity last week. During the show’s engagement in Los Angeles last winter, it skipped a week of performances due to slow holiday business.
