The Brando Case: Marlon Brando’s daughter, Cheyenne, 21, received permission Wednesday to leave French Polynesia to enter a French clinic for treatment while awaiting a ruling on whether she will be tried in connection with the murder of her ex-boyfriend, Dag Drollet. She has suffered from depression. The court in Papeete, however, refused to lift all judicial controls and said Cheyenne Brando could not stop in the United States or even fly over American territory en route to France. Her half-brother, Christian, is serving a 10-year prison sentence for voluntary manslaughter in the 1990 Los Angeles shooting of Drollet, father of her child.
