I would remind Yaroslavsky that America was founded by Christians. The very spirit of the American Constitution reflects the teachings of Christ. The first constitutional form of government ever signed, the Mayflower Compact (Nov. 11, 1620), states that it was undertaken for “the glory of God and advancement of the Christian faith.” Never did the Founding Fathers intend that our government become one which denies God.
