Memorial Set for Disney Animator Arthur Babbitt

A memorial service for Arthur Babbitt, an early Walt Disney animator who created the classic dancing mushroom scene in “Fantasia,” will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Hollywood at Highland and Franklin avenues. Babbitt died March 4 at age 84. Examples of his work will be on display.
