What made the Miami entertainer’s world tour last year so remarkable was that it marked her return to the stage after a lengthy, initially uncertain recuperation from injuries sustained in a traffic accident. Had this program been straight concert footage, the absence of any reference to the ordeal would be forgivable. But interspersed among the colorfully staged, intimately shot performance scenes are bits of documentary that might well have focused on the rigors of the road in the wake of her accident, rather than on such puffery as how her fans around the world express their adoration. Still, the meat of the program is the music, and it looks and sounds spectacular.
