HUNTING FIELDS? It looks like the three-day annual deer hunt in Orange County next fall is on again. The state’s Fish and Game Commission is expected to OK the hunt for antler-less deer at an April 3 public hearing. . . . State wildlife biologists say the hunt is vital to managing the county’s 2,400-deer population, but Orange County game official Ken Scattergood counters: “We don’t believe there are enough deer out there.” . . . The county blocked the hunt last year but failed to object on time this year.
