* John McKellen has been promoted to president of MCA Music Publishing. He moves up from executive vice president and will continue to work from his New York base.

Lance Grode, also promoted, has been named executive vice president of the company. Grode, previously senior vice president of business and legal affairs for MCA Music Entertainment Group, will be based in Universal City.
